Applications

Silicera Coat is a coating which has excellent non-stick property to silicone coatings and hardness better than fluoro-polymer coatings. Coating can be processed at low temperature (100 to 250℃), so it can be applied to non-heat resistant substrates such as CFRP.
We will introduce the application and practical construction examples of Silicera Coat.

Silicera Coat is adopted at a lot of manufacturers for car parts, hygienic materials (e.g. nonwoven fabric, disposable diapers and so on) and packing machine and solves various problems as follows.

・Prevention of fabric's or paper's adhesion to drying rollers
・Improvement of mold releasability
・Improvement of slippage at manufacturing facilities for rubber products such as tyres
・Prevention of adhesive's adhesion at automatic labeling machine or packaging machine
・Prevention of adhesion by viscous film or nonwoven fabric
・Solution of powder clogging inside hoppers
・Reduction of surface abrasion on rollers

CFRP rolls

Silicera Coat can be processed on CFRP, although fluoropolymer coatings need high processing temperature (cause of thermal deformation to substrates) and are not available to CFRP.
