What kind of coating is Silicera Coat?
"Silicera Coat" is a ceramic coating and our original products, which Osaka Gas Chemicals developed in 2016.
It has both of non-stick property comparable to silicone coatings and high hardness beyond fluoropolymer coatings.
It can reduce deformation of substrates due to its processability by lower temperature than fluoropolymer coatings.
Surface processing is also available for CFRP and epoxy resin on which were not able to process non-stick coating with fluoropolymer and silicone.
Applications and examples of
Silicera Coat
Silicera Coat has been adopted to aluminum rollers, CFRP rollers, various guides, chutes, other resin parts of coating and so on.
Surface processing is also available for CFRP and epoxy resin on which were not able to process non-stick coating until then, as it is processable by low temperature.
